3W Ranch Belgians

Yes those are our horses up on the hill taken last weekend in our pasture (04/ 04/09) in the picture top left!

We lost our Norene Queen of old age last year, she is sorely missed.

Maggie IS our lead Belgian (and she can't seem to forget that); she takes nothing from any other horse and oh is she bossy Maggie is 18hh and weighs in about 2000#; she has a tickle spot under her belly and is ALWAYS hungry.   Maggie foaled 3W's Lightening Bolt April 21, 2008, you can see his pictures and video's on this site.  She is now in foal to our stallion Benjamin for a 2010 baby.

April is our registered Belgian mare, she is Maggie's buddy a slight darker sorrel and she is 18.2hh and weighs in about 2200#.  She has no patience when it comes to being fed, she will walk up a fence (tearing it down) she paws even her own food bowl which is 3 ft off the ground. April was diagnosed as having Squamous Cell Carcinoma, right now her quality of life is very good and we are working on keeping her tumor from growing.  It is in her nasal cavity so it has bothered her breathing, used a treatment of Xxterra on her and it seems to have shrunk it some. Please keep her in your prayers as well as her unborn foal.

Gracie is our little Belgian Brabant filly x QH.  She's gorgeous with her silver coming into her fur.  She is a very pushy filly and quick of foot when Maggie comes around!  I've thought she would make a great dressage prospect because she will cross her front legs and bend!    She loves the grandkids.

We then got 2 PMU Mares from that same friend that got them from a rescue in Canada.   One was actually used as a PMU the other was used as a breeding mare.   Sorrell B (Bea) is the PMU mare and Josie (Jo) was the breeding mare; she's a huge huge roanish blonde mare.  Bea foaled 3W's Splash o' white the end of April 2008; she is 1/2 belgian and 1/2 percheron, very pretty dainty little thing.  (Sorrel B passed away last January 2010 (COD = Unknown but she didn't suffer.   Splashes her filly is pending rehoming with Stephanie!

After that we got 2 more of the PMU Mares from Cananda, these are Percheron's; Jeanne & Storm.   Jeanne has a very sweet shy personality and Storm is the lead mare!  She's kicked Maggie's butt a time or two.  Jeanne and Storm have been rehomed with Tiffany and are doing FABULOUS!

Rachel is our first rescue we took in other than the PMU Mare's from Canada.   She and April are buddies, she is lead mare unless Storm, Bea or Maggie is around.   Rachel is being driven and ridden by Tim of the Green Teamster blog to the left of this)  Rehomed, loved and pampered!

Then of course there is 3W's Benjamin Lynzee whom has his own page.
